Aligned Layer is a verification layer for zero-knowledge proofs using Eigen Layer. Our team recently performed a security audit of the Aligned Layer system as part of a multi-firm audit, targeting Aligned Layer version 0.4.0. In this review, we performed a follow-up audit, focusing on the changes between Aligned Layer version 0.4.0 and 0.11.2. In the most recent updates, the Aligned Layer team has addressed some of the issues raised by the recent audits. Overall, our team found that version 0.11.2 contains a few new features, and that system reliability and efficiency was improved.
